With prices continuing to rise, people are looking for ways to save or make money. Here is a list of thrift stores, consignment shops, and flea markets that can help.

There is even a bakery thrift store to make your dough go a little further. 

And don’t forget about your “furry” family; there are options to save on pet food.

Assistance League of Greater Wilmington Thrift Shop: 420 Eastwood Road, Wilmington. Features unique merchandise — gently used and never worn clothing, household items, books, furniture, collectibles, jewelry, sporting goods, kitchen gadgets, artwork, tools, craft and hobby supplies, linens, glassware, and much, much more. 10 a.m.-4 pm. Bargain Box of Wilmington: 213 Princess Place Drive, Wilmington. An upscale second-hand store, is an outreach ministry of the Church of the Servant, Episcopal. All net proceeds from the sale of donated items go back to the community. The nonprofit thrift store sells men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses, decorative items, linens, and housewares. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays.

Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity ReStore: Donation centers accept home goods, furniture, building supplies, and more. Items are resold to help support Habitat’s mission of affordable homes in the community.

P.A.W.S. Resale Shoppe: 5941 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington. P.A.W.S. mission is to support local rescue organizations by raising money through sale of donated goods — home decor, gently used furniture, pet supplies, jewelry, beach items, puzzles and board games. Curated on Castle Vintage Market: The flea market opens 10 a.m.-2 p.m. every Second Saturday March-November, located at 604 Castle St, Wilmington. This multi-vendor vintage market sells everything from clothes and vinyl records to home decor and more.

Junky Monkey: 3041 N Kerr Ave., Wilmington. Over 60 different vendors selling earrings, clothes, furniture, and household items  10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday. 

Sea Glass Monthly Market: 5601 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne. Is an indoor market that features over 50 local artists and artisans selling handmade, homemade, resale, and retail items. The venue is open the third weekend of every month, except the first and third weekends of November and December. Open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 15-17.
