Head of Marketing – Gigantic Tickets – IQ Magazine

Gigantic are one of the UK’s leading ticketing agencies and work across all areas of the live entertainment industry. In 2019 the company became part of the DEAG group and as part of that continued growth we are now looking for a dedicated head of marketing.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in the live industry and have the capability & skills to take the lead on all marketing activity across the company. You will understand the needs of our clients and what drives customer behaviour and have the expertise to turn that into campaigns and initiatives that deliver results. You are personable, approachable and a team player with a history of leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
· Leading and managing the marketing department covering all elements of marketing (social, email, PPC).
· Communicating & collaborating across all internal departments including marketing, event management, business development and IT.
· To be our point of contact across the wider DEAG group marketing efforts, developing good working relationships & strategy across those partner teams.
· To lead the marketing executives and ensure the highest standards and best practices are maintained, to be at the forefront of emerging industry trends and advising & implementing on improvements to our services.
· Ensure day to day support is provided to all members of the marketing team and clients. Be the main contact for key clients.
· Take a lead on industry communications, PR and branding exercises.
· Work with the marketing team on weekly marketing duties as well as regular major marketing ‘campaigns’ in line with the rest of the industry
· Work with the Business Development team on new client pitches & marketing plans that highlight the major strengths of Gigantic.
· Work with our affiliates and key partners to grow sales
· Provide full analytics and insights for all marketing activities

Essential
· Proven Experience in a senior marketing role within the live and/or ticketing industry. Working both on day-to-day duties and bespoke campaigns
· Experience in managing and leading a team of campaign executives across numerous platforms (social, email, PPC, digital ads)
· Have a wide breadth of knowledge across all elements of live entertainment & marketing.
· A proven track record of delivering marketing campaigns to maximise ticket sales
· Have a creative approach to marketing, with an ability to come up with ideas in how to increase sales, engagement, and exposure
· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot onto new projects quickly when required
· Strong understanding of GDPR & data policy
· An ability to prioritise key tasks and clients
· Strong organisations and project management skills
· Experience in Microsoft suite, Google Analytics, Adobe
· An ability to use their own initiative and execute duties without supervision

Desirable
· Have worked with business development teams on winning new business
· Experience with external communications and company PR.
